March 2, 2015
The Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers and the Centre Culturel Suisse Paris present the first major Milo Rau / IIPM retrospective in France. Considered as one of "Europe's most sought-after" (La Libre Belgique) and "most controversial" (Der Freitag) directors working today, THE PARIS RETROSPECTIVE gathers 6 of Milo Rau's most significant theatre & film productions. An overall view of IIPM's artistic path and changing styles.
The shows are accompanied by discussion panels, artist conversations and a seminar, focusing on the esthetics and political backgrounds of productions like "Breivik's Statement", "The Moscow Trials" or "The Civil Wars".
