Line Mørkeby

Line Mørkeby (née 1977) is a Danish playwright. After four years of theatre – and performance studies at the University of Copenhagen, she was admitted to the Departmenf of playwriting at Aarhus Theatre. She graduated in 2008. During the same year her debut play, “Musical”, was staged at the Royal Danish theatre. It was a great success. In 2010 she received a Reumert for “Best Young Play” with her controversial drama “6 P LR K”. She dazzled the audience and media that same year with the bitter sweet comedy “Joy” for which she was nominated as “playwright of the year”.
