Holger Schober

Holger Schober is an Austrian playwright, actor and director. He read German, English and Cultural Management at university as well as training as actor at renowned Max Reinhard Seminar in Vienna. He is the author of many plays for young adults as well as film and TV scripts. His plays have won important awards including the German Youth Theatre Award and  the ‘Faust’ Award  for best production for Hikikomori, and two Austrian ‘Stella’ Awards for Clyde and Bonnie.
While still at drama school Holger started Theater Kinetis, he was part of the artistic team at TAG in Vienna and Artistic Director of the Children and Youth Theatre at Linz Landestheater (u/hof).
He is a regular contributor to Dschungel Theatre, Vienna.
