Valencia 1939 towards the end of the Spanish Civil War. Jaume Planc, head of the Valencian police has to deal with a curious phenomenon: The wives of several landowners have disappeared. A mysterious list of names of suspicious citizens emerges, of rebels that might have abducted them. The police needs to intervene.
