TALL TALL MOUNTAINS AND STRANGE BIRDS

Dad falls so deeply in love with a man he meets on holiday in Hong Kong that he sacrifices his family in order to be with him. Mum is left with a spoilt and happy six-year-old who suddenly needs to become a totally different person than they’ve taught him to be so far, if he is to survive without Daddy’s money and connections.
The boy grows up, and is triggered by a close friend to return to Hong Kong in order to look for Dad. Dad is still there, but he does not recognise his son, and the boy is not sure whether he wants to be recognised by the man he has found.
