BLACK SEA

Black Sea moves through the ages of a woman, Liv. From her early childhood in Norway as the daughter of a fisherman, to a rootless global existence as an involuntary freelancer in her late sixties, some time in the future. We experience the tapestry of her life, through her enduring relationships to family, both tender and unhappy - to fleeting encounters that have a lifelong impact. In the background lurks an escalating exhaustion as the sea is slowly dying and the world order turns upside-down.
