THE BEREAVED

This grotesque tragicomedy that centres on revenge involves sisterhood, punishment, absinthe, meat prices, infidelity and murder. The story follows three sisters at different stages in their lives: as children in the 1920s; as young women in the 1940s; as mature women in the 1960s and finally as old women in present time. This work offers challenging parts for three actresses as well as varied and inventive staging possibilities.
