The Cure presents Irene, a modern career woman struggling to find a balance between her job and her home life. She tries to recuperate by taking herself off to a health farm. When she arrives, she finds the resort does not exist, but is instead inhabited by a few very peculiar individuals and a warren of rabbits. The Cure is written with Erling Jepsen’s irony and wit, an aspect of his writing that has garnered much popularity.
